Natalie Cormier, co-owner Able Canvas, won on November 23, 2017 the Woman in Business Award of the Year 2017 by the Chamber of Commerce Cap-Pelé/Beaubassin-est

Able Canvas (2011) Inc. was founded by Natalie Cormier and her husband Berny. Their unique business is located in Grand-Barachois. Natalie always had an entrepreneurial spirit, coming from a long line of entrepreneurs. When the opportunity to purchase the original Able Canvas presented itself, Natalie seized the opportunity as she always knew that one day she too would follow this rewarding path.

Able Canvas (2011) Inc. offers durable yet aesthetically pleasing coverings for their clients. Some of their products and services include awnings for both commercial and residential use on terraces, decks, boat tops and seat cushions, protective tarps for all sizes of trucks, pool covers as well as repair services for broken zippers on tent-trailer tops.

Natalie believes that the attention to detail they invest in every single project as well as using quality fabrics has helped them grow their client base. She does not believe in a “cookie cutter” solution for every client. She carefully listens to their list of requirements then creates a product that combines functionality with durability and design.

The future is very bright for Able Canvas (2011) Inc. Natalie was the recipient of the prestigious 2017 Woman Entrepreneur of the Year award by the Chamber of Commerce Cap-Pelé/Beaubassin-est.

"I would like to thank you for picking Ben's Clothing for the retail consulting makeover.  I very much enjoyed talking to Barbara.  She has wonderful insites on what to do to refresh my store.  I was extremly excited of the ideas put together thats in my budget for now and also in the near future.
 
The 1st part of the seminar, had opened my eyes to the reality of my challenges and concerns, statistics, operating cost and marketing which is a huge part that can not be ignored. It's a must to have a list of issues to know it and control it.  This is a large part of my battles that I face but placed them in the back burner. 
 
When Barbara came into my store I wasn't sure what to expect because in the seminar she was leaning towards makeovers for a new store or toronto style store.  I had no idea that a little bit of paint in a different color will bring out what I want to promote.  She had alot of new ideas that are in the budget and I'm going to make it happen!
