Olaitan immigrated to Saint John from Nigeria in 2014 as an international student in University of New Brunswick (UNB)'s MBA program. She founded her first business Ocrej Consulting where she assisted with the settlement of over 100 international students in Canada. A Canadian Immigration Consultant committed to providing access for the visible minority community, she serves as the principal consultant of 7th Laurel Immigration Consulting. In her previous position as a Deal Facilitator with IBM, Olaitan was instrumental in building rapport and fostering relationships. This social entrepreneur is very civic-minded. She is the founder and president of the Black Business & Professional Network Inc., vice-president of the Nigerian Canadian Association of New Brunswick, a two-time volunteer for the United Colors of Fashion-UCOF and was a mentor once this year with the SJMNC Jump Start Program. A married mother of three, Olaitan is passionate about empowering immigrants to employ their skills and experiences in their communities.
