Before joining the WBNB, this determined individual spent three years as City Clerk for the City of Campbellton. In this fast-paced role, Jana planned, managed and oversaw all aspects of city affairs and liaised with government representatives. Furthermore, she was responsible for internal communication pertaining to Council as well as handling citizen concerns.
Jana has long been implanted in the entrepreneurship eco-system in her various roles as development officer and program coordinator throughout the years. Fluently bilingual, she has partnered with various levels of government and teamed up with board of directors and key stakeholders. Jana has organized and facilitated training sessions, presentations and events.
A strategic thinker and forecaster
With a Bachelor’s of Business Administration degree from the University of New Brunswick, Jana possesses strong management and financial skills. A strategic thinker and forecaster, she has streamlined financial and bookkeeping strategies, and developed new work processes.
Jana is currently the chairperson of the Parent School Support Committee Committee (PSSC) for the Lord Beaverbrook School, where her son attends. In her spare time, she enjoys travel, cooking and spending time with family. A life-long learner, Jana is passionate about personal and professional development as well as helping others to reach their potential.
